It\u2019s the combination of material, dimensions and specifications.\u00a0Recently, GNS Nederland helped a major technical service provider source <strong>M20x75 hexagon bolts in Alloy 926 (1.4529)<\/strong>.\u00a0Alloy 926 is certainly not a standard material that you can find everywhere. But that wasn\u2019t the biggest challenge.\u00a0The bolts also had to feature a <strong>partial thread in accordance with DIN 931<\/strong>.\u00a0And that turned out to be the real problem&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Suppliers who could provide the material could only offer <strong>fully threaded bolts according to DIN 933<\/strong>. Partial-thread versions were simply not available.\u00a0<em>\u201cYou\u2019re not going to find those&#8230;\u201d<\/em> was the answer our customer heard time and time again.\u00a0Until the search reached Eindhoven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GNS Nederland was able to meet all the requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How? We sourced the required raw material and had the bolts manufactured specifically for the application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M20x75<\/li>\n<li>Alloy 926 (1.4529)<\/li>\n<li>Partial thread according to DIN 931<\/li>\n<li>EN 10204\/3.1 material certificate<\/li>\n<li>Delivered within the agreed lead time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A deal is a deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is what we do: when standard supply falls short, we look for a solution.\u00a0Are you looking for <strong>special-grade fasteners, non-standard dimensions or hard-to-source specifications<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenge us. We\u2019ll find a way.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #de5307;\"><strong>Alloy 926<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Alloy 926 (1.4529) is a super-austenitic stainless steel, comparable to AISI 904L (1.4539), but with higher molybdenum and nitrogen contents.\u00a0Its high alloy content provides excellent resistance to a wide range of organic and inorganic acids, including sulphuric and hydrochloric acid. Alloy 926 is also resistant to intergranular corrosion, even after welding.\u00a0The material is suitable for chloride-containing environments, halogen-contaminated media and seawater. Thanks to its high molybdenum content, Alloy 926 offers <strong>exceptionally high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion \u2014 even higher than AISI 904L.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GNS Nederland supplies a complete range of corrosion- and heat-resistant fasteners, including Alloy 926.
