DIN 931 bolts in Alloy 59 (2.4605) made to customer requirements!

GNS Nederland was asked to offer M16x80 and M20x70 DIN 931 bolts with nuts and washers in Alloy 59. Everybody had already been asked by our customer. A few were still able to supply the nuts and rings, but for the bolts the answer was: “They don’t excist in that quality”. They wished him lot’s of luck with his search… His search ended at GNS.
So we just let the bolts, nuts and rings made. No simple job due to a.o. the toughness of the material. Given the haste of our customer, we were still able to deliver the materials two days earlier than confirmed. Of course according to specification: So perfectly fitting and deployed without any problems.
Nice to see that we made something almost impossible possible again.
Alloy 59 (NiCr23Mo16Al material number 2.4605) is a chemically resistant nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. It is mainly used in the chemical industry, paper industry and flue gas desulphurization plants. The material is also known under the brand name Nicrofer.
